Does anyone have experience tracking inventory?

I'd love to talk to you!

(Why: as I increase the amount of inventory I keep on hand I want to have some systems in place to know how much there is / what might need to be ordered, etc.)

I've used shopify's basic system to keep track of finished products. I know you're using square space.. is their default tracker not comprehensive enough for you?

Do you need to track raw materials too? That's something I'm interested in as well.

I have a specific sub-query about how to track products with an expiration date (perishable finished foods and raw ingredients).

Most bookkeeping software has an inventory tracking system as well. Have you tried using that?
