Suggest your favorite wine to pair with dark chocolate

Why: we are going to do wine-chocolate pairing session at FlyDog's Vino & Vinyasa event in August

    Did Kathy or Jon at Wegmans help you? A bolder red wine like Syrah or Zinfandel are usually recommended with dark chocolate or you can go sweeter as well. Two wines I've had with chocolate that are delish are Maggio Petite Sirah (slightly sweet and fruity) and Michael David's Petite Petit. The last one is a blend of Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot that is dryer and more intense in flavor.
